You are an artist in a city. According to conventional wisdom, your art will benefit from the sort of density, diversity, and synergy found only in a big old city like Baltimore, while Baltimore’s reputation as a city will benefit from the “cultural capital” you create by living and working here. In this class (and blog), we will examine the relationship between art, artists, and cities, with a focus on recent efforts by cities to use the arts and culture as a tool for revitalization.

Quick Question
After reading some of the other responses posted, I have realized I may have come about this all wrong. My posts mainly consist of synopsis' of the reading, instead of my personal reflection on the piece. Is this necessarily "wrong'?
